This technical reference details the InventorUtilities integration initiative, containing the Designs required for integration of kBridge into Autodesk Inventor.
InventorUtilities is a Knowledge Bridge project that holds the different Mixins to integrate Knowledge Bridge with Autodesk Inventor.
The Inventor integration requires an additional Inventor Add-In that must be installed in Inventor. This add-in enables the user to send and receive kBridge data within Inventor. See details in the tutorial linked above.
The integration works by generating an intermediate file of data drawn from kBridge. This file is then used in turn by Inventor to generate its model and drawings.
It also includes the following library of kBridge Mixins that are available to automate and enhance the generation of this intermediate file based on the parts in the user"s kBridge model:
