kBridge works in a client-server architecture, shown in the following diagram:
On a high level, the server side contains four elements. (1) kBridge runtime and authoring; (2) kB kernel; (3) database of application data tables; and (4) customer project rule database. The client side has two elements. (1) Author UI on an Internet browser; and (2) client CAD/CAM/CAE environment. The author UI is also available to end users.
