A Child Group is an object in the Model Tree that represents a Child Rule. We"ve added a red rectangular border to indicate Child Groups in the screen shot below. Note that Child Groups are visually indicated in italics.
The actual children created by the Child Rule appear below the Child Group in the Model Tree. Child Groups can contain any number of children—and a "group" of 1 is possible, as seen below under a number of the Child Groups.
Child rules (and thus Child groups) are named automatically. These names can be changed by the rule author when the Child Rule is created, and they can be changed any time thereafter.
A Child Rule can provide parameters to each of its children.
