To add a Child Rule to a Design, use one of the following options:
•Drag and drop a Design from the Project Tree onto a node in the Model Tree.
•Right click on the node in the Model Tree and select Add Child Rule
•Click on the Add Design Child Rule icon in the Rule Editor:
This will create a Child Rule in the Design that instantiates the node in the Tree and then shows us the Child Rule in the Child Context Tab for editing (next topic). It will also create a corresponding Child Group in the Model Tree.
Note: Drop the Child Design onto a Child, not onto a Child Group. Below, you drop onto EngineCylinders0 rather than the Child Group, EngineCylinders that is on the tree above EngineCylinders0.
